Software has come on in leaps and bounds over the last 10 years and it is now an integral part of our daily lives. But this is not only because more functionality is available. Changes in how we interact with the software have had a massive impact.

A system should be intuitive and the users must be able to find what they need, when they need it. We build solutions to help clinicians deliver healthcare services. We avoid the complexities that other systems seem to pack in.

We have a dedicated team who's purpose is to make your experience as smooth as possible. They are the UX team.

What is UX?

User experience (abbreviated as UX) is how a person feels when they interface with a system. The system could be a website, a smartphone app or desktop software.

The IT systems used by the NHS are perfect examples of how software becomes more complex over time. This growth in complexity inevitably leads to more confusion for users.

The Vision UX experience

At Vision we have a 4 stage process for planning the user experience.

  1. Research what users are trying to do
  2. Define user scenarios
  3. Design workflows and user interface
  4. Test our assumptions in the real world

To find out more about the Vision UX experience and a sneak peak at the new Vision Appointments app, download the UX ebook. We'll give you an insight into the Vision design principles that lead to a great user experience. We call it intelligent healthcare.
